When do we cease our processing? The processing ceases when you stop using the website. Thus, no personal data of yours is thereafter stored. The information that is processed when you have closed your browser is not personal data and is not traceable to you.
If you register to participate in one of our events:
Personal data: The personal data you provide us with upon registering, typically: name, contact details (such as email address, phone number and address) and if food is offered; any food preferences or allergies.
Use and purpose: Occasionally we organize events, some of which target our business partners and some of which target the public, which highlight Astrid Lindgren’s stories, her authorship or topics which Astrid Lindgren herself was committed to.When we organize an event, we use your personal data to e.g. send you necessary information, cater for your food preferences, and to send you a questionnaire to evaluate the event which you can chose to answer. Also, we store your contact information to be able to invite you to future events.
Legal basis: Legitimate interestUpon registering for the event, we may also ask for your consent to process any personal data regarding food allergies and food preferences that you provide us. If you would like us to be able to cater for such requests, you need to consent to such processing.
When do we cease our processing? If you participate in an event as an employee/representative of one of our business partners, we will continue to store your contact information for coming events we hope will interest you, for as long as you work for such business partner.If you participate in an event as a private person, we will store your contact information for one year following the event, to be able to invite you to any additional events during the upcoming year.
If you send us a job application:
Personal data: The personal data you provide us with in your job application, such as name, personal identification number, address, phone number and qualifications.
Use and purpose: We store and use your job application within the scope of our recruitment process.If you send us a job application when we are not actively recruiting, we will store your application in case a position of interest arises.

When do we cease our processing? If you are employed, we will store your application during your employment with us.If you are not employed in the applicable recruitment process, we will store your application for one year following the recruitment process in case we wish to contact you again.If you send us a job application when we are not actively recruiting, we will store your application for one year after we receive your application.
If you are the contact person/employee/consultant/representative of one of our business partners (e.g. a licensee, illustrator, supplier):
Personal data: Typically name, (personal identification number if you are a sole trader), contact information (such as work email address, work phone number, address of the company) and job title
Use and purpose: We process your personal data to the extent necessary in connection with our business relationship with you or the company you represent, for example by:

When do we cease our processing? When the processing is no longer necessary; as a main rule we do not store contact details for more than one year after the business relationship with our business partner has ceased or you have ended your employment/engagement with such company.

Personal data: Typically name (and personal identification number if you are a sole trader), contact information (such as work email address, work phone number, the address to the company)
Use and purpose: We process your personal data to the extent necessary to defend our rights, such as by collecting your work contact details from the company you represent and to put forward, discuss, dispute and/or settle our claims. We may also share your information with our counsels.

If you contact us with general questions (or in any other matters of a general nature):
Personal data: The personal data you provide us with; typically name and contact information (such as email address, phone number and address)
Use and purpose: When you contact us (by email, post, phone or social media) with e.g. questions about The Astrid Lindgren Company rights, Astrid Lindgren’s authorship, stories and characters, to make a license request or to provide us with information you think may be of interest to us, we will process the personal data you have provided to respond to you, forward your request to a appropriate business partner, or as otherwise necessary to handle your matter.
