Astrid’s very first job was as a volunteer at the Vimmerby Times. Then she got her qualifications as a shorthand/typist. After her breakthrough as an author, Astrid also made a career in the publishing world and was responsible for the distribution of children’s books at Rabén & Sjögren for many years.
